♥ Raising Glee

When: Thursday afternoon

Benny ditched his last class of the day of the school day, which really, really wasn't like him considering it was a Glee day after class. He loved music and he loved Glee and he never missed. Plus, he had only ever ditched school once before with Darius and Brendan, and their moms had reefed them such a firm new one none of the teen boys wanted to tempt fate ever again. He just couldn't help it because his head was thumping and he felt like crap. He was sure if he had to sit through Chemistry, he would barf on someone.

So, he ditched and walked the few blocks from school home, figuring that no one would be home anyway. His kid sister would still be at school and both folks at work. He could just go home and lie down for a bit, and no one would be any the wiser. Still, it probably wasn't the best move considering he had been caught smoking by Miss Schuester earlier in the week. Nothing had come of it, so maybe she decided her warning was enough. He didn't like it anyway, and told her that. It tasted awful and made him feel gross, plus he couldn't catch his breath. Why anyone did that by choice was beyond him.

He dumped his school bag inside the front door by the coat rack, kicked his shoe off messily and then went straight up the hall to his room to flop face first down on his bed. Oh god, it was heaven. Sometimes, bed was just awesome.
